Framed

Just a quick photo to show the watercolours framed and ready to deliver!!!  Terrible photo, but you get the idea (I was in a rush!)

I had to take these at an angle to avoid the flashlight reflection from the camera... :~(

My friend had a baby!

I've been working on a couple of gifts for her.... 

 These two whimsical paintings were lots of fun.  I have to admit it wasn't totally my idea as I saw something similar online, but they were graphic art with photoshopped pics, whereas mine is actually hand drawn and painted with watercolours.   I chose a lovely poem by Robert Louis Stevenson, "Travel" and drew the images on top - turning them into art.  Tomorrow I will mount the paintings onto beautiful backing paper and then frame.... Hopefully I'll remember to post photos of them framed.

This box holds another handmade surprise.... I also made this cabochon with his name in wire encased in resin....

I guess this gives away who it's for... :~)
